Is anyone else sick of this internet-bacon phenomenon? Bacon's good, I get it as part of my grand slam, but come on. I realize internet memes are for the most part pointless fun, but there is nothing entertaining about seeing bacon on the internet. Cats? Fine, I get it, they're photogenic and lend themselves to funny captions. Piano cats? Even funnier. Ironic wolf t shirts? Also fine, they're funny, and best of all you can't get them at Urban Outfitters.
But bacon related objects/products/images? NO. NOT FUNNY. It's also pornographic, culturally insensitive, and leads to heart disease. I know it's delicious, that's why it's on my plate where it should be, not on the internet. I log on to see cool amazing stuff I probably won't see in real life, not breakfast. If you think this internet bacon craze/blogger crutch is funny, please get off the blogs and reassess your life.
life update:
I'm still looking for a job, preferably in transportation and planning, but really in anything that pays better than retail. On the bright side I have been reading, working out, watching movies a lot more than I did in college.

My Cantonese has deteriorated to the point where I can't keep up a conversation longer than a minute and I mumble words I can't remember. In a few years I might have to order everything in English. I imagine this is how senility feels. In my feeble attempt to slow this crippling condition, I have watched Police Story 1 & 2 these past 2 days and will watch part 3 tomorrow. Save me Jackie.

edit: This entry had to go through 2 edits. This bodes badly for my English. I'm really scared.

Every morning I look in my closet and I ask myself, "Does that T shirt still have sleeves?". There are a lot more "Nos" than there should be.
